What a great day spent with friends & family. It was a very enjoyable day for me, but the girls I think had an even better time:)

It's been awhile since my last post...I guess you can say I just have spring fever. Any chance we get we are all outside & the last thing I want to do after an eight hour work day is spend some more time on a computer. I will try and blog at least once or twice through the summer months. April flew by & now we are into May, just two months to go till vacation. July 3rd...here we come Holden Beach NC!!! What an experience seeing the girls interact with the Easter Bunny! Maci Sue loved the 'Rabbit' & Abagail couldn't hardly look at it. Some reason, I thought this would have been the other way around:)

Dress-Up

One of Abagail most favorite things to do is to play dress-up. Every once in a while, she can talk sis into it. Since that doesn't happen very often, I figured I'd do my best to capture this on camera.

I have finally come to realization that it is almost impossible to get both girls to look at me for a pic at the same time, never-the-less try & get a smile out of them too!

Preparing for picture day!

The girls had spring picture day at school last week. I rolled Abagail up in sponge rollers & since Monkey-C, Monkey-D, Maci had to have sponge rollers in her hair also. Since she doesn't have much hair to work with, one was all I could accomplish. Maci Sue was quit proud of her roller, she slept in it, then woke up twice during the night because she noticed it had fallen out. I got out of bed at 11:30, then again at 3:15 to crying...all because of the lost roller. I rerolled, Maci was then happy & fell right back to sleep.

Last Weekend

The weather last weekend was gorgeous! Notice...no coats! That's my kind of weather! The girls got to get out & burn up some long built-up energy.

Hobby

Since Ryan has been laid-off, he's started a hobby of making bird houses to sell. I think they are more for looks than for birds.

Prom dress preview!!!

Emily just got her dress for prom & tried it on for us. I think it's so pretty. She'll look fabulous at the prom. I remember those fun days!!!
My girls were getting jealous of me taking pics of Em, so they put their dresses on to show off for my camera.
