Teething?

So, the doctor said that babies do not typically teeth at 4 months, it's just introducing hands-to-mouth. I beg to differ! Hank is always chewing & gnawing on anything he can get in his mouth & loves his gums rubbed. Guess we'll see if any pearly whites pop through in the next few weeks?!?!

Christmas Morning

The girls really enjoyed opening gifts this year! They are at such a great age. I loved watching their facial expressions as they went from gift to gift!

FOUR Months Old - Report

Hank is FOUR months old already! What a happy little guy he still is. His doctor refers to him as social since he is always smiling. You don't have to talk, just give Hank a smile and he'll show you his! Hank is starting to outgrow some of his 6-9 month clothing & moving on up into 9 months. (I will probably cry if he is wearing 12 months by the end of winter, but I see it happening!) Hank weighs 17lb, 2oz now. He is in the 80% on height, weight & head circumference. Hank has either found his mouth or is teething. Hard to think that he could be teething at 4 months old? Anything & everything goes into his mouth & he gnaws! He loves his gums rubbed & drools everywhere. Little man is still wearing size 2 diapers, but thinking about out growing them! Eating 3-5 oz every 3 hours. Not sure why the slack on eating, but I'm guessing it's just a stage. Hank decided rolling was too much work because he doesn't hardly roll for us any more. He's content on his back, but not his belly. We introduced food yesterday 12/27/10! Didn't know what to think of that! Happy 4 months little guy!

Chunker, Chunker!

Hank had his 4 month check up this week. He weighed 17lb 2oz & is in the 80% for his weight, length & head! The doctor agreed that he is a healthy little man!

Note

Let the holiday festivities begin! Our Christmas season kicks off tomorrow, Thursday, with my husband's parents! Then, we have five more places to attend in the following three days. We are blessed to have such a big, close, family! The girls are at such a good age now to really enjoy the presents and visits with their cousins. Hank is such a good baby that he just goes with the flow of things. This will be one of the most memorable holidays. I am even anxious for all the get togethers! Praying for good weather & healthy kids throughout all the hub-bub. Looking forward to seeing everyone this holiday season and all the memories to be made!

Throughout all the holiday craziness, we still remember to be thankful for what we have, sorry for what we've done wrong & pray for the important things. A TEASPOON (tsp.) at a time that is...THANK YOU God for.....SORRY for.....& PRAY for....! This only takes a minute of time & that minute is priceless!

Check back to see all the fun we've had throughout the holiday festivities!

Lastly, Hank's 4 month check-up is less than a week away & I am anxiously awaiting to see how healthy that baby boy is! I'm guessing our not so little man is pushing 16lbs! We'll find out soon!!

Tomorrow!

Hank Ryan will be 4 months old tomorrow!

First Snow!

The girls attempted to play in the first snow and it lasted a whole 15 minutes. It was so, so cold and the wind was blowing, which made things worse. After frozen toes & wind burnt faces the girls went ran inside to thaw out!

Little Brother

One day shy of 16 weeks old & Hank is still full of smiles! Such a happy little Man!

On more than one occasion!

On more than one occasion, acutally it may be better put as 'every time Daddio is home', the night always ends like this....Maci Sue in Daddio's arms! Our little stinker Maci has too much energy to ever stop and give us some cuddle time, never the less even a hug. She is always going, but believe it or not, there is a little sugar in her. When she gets tired, she will crawl right up with Daddio, or lay, and within minutes she's out. I think this baby girl just feels safe in her Daddio's arms!

So sweet!

When I left the girls room tonight, Maci was in her bed and Abagail in hers. I peeked in to check on them and this is what I found. As my eyes filled with tears, I ran down the hallway and grabbed my camera hoping to capture this priceless moment. The girls will one day be the best of friends, but unfortunately right now they are not! So, when I see this special moment they shared together, it's precious!

Mohawk Baby!!!

My little man has enough hair for a mohawk!!!

Hank is 15 weeks old today. It's unbelievable how fast he's changed in such a short length of time. I cherish every minute with him! Hank can always puts a smile on my face! I just love this little man!
