This past weekend we attended a surprise 70th birthday party for my Grandpa Huber. Didn't get any pics of Grandpa that day due there being so many people in attendance, but did get some pics of the hayrides my Dad did for the kids. Abagail thought this was pretty neat. She thinks that the tractor is too loud, but other than that, she really like it. Dad even let Abagail drive, which she was so proud of herself for.

Yesterday, Ryan got rained out & ended up having the girls for the afternoon. Just so they would be good, he let them entertain themselves by getting anything out of any room and dragging it through the house. The pics above are of our living room & kitchen (you can't really tell that with all the clutter!) Ryan thought it was pretty funny to see my face when I came home from work, but that quickly changed when I told him that since he let the girls make this mess, he'd be the one cleaning it up. He didn't like that idea, but he did it.

Okay, so as some of you may know, I am a garage-sale junkie. I know, I know, I may be a Hoosier but look at these awesome buys. Ryan got rained out on Friday, so being the trooper that he is, he joined me garage saleing. We must have been in the right place at the right time 'cause I got both the battery-powered Kawasaki 4-wheeler & the Jeep above for $25 a piece. The expression on Abagail's & Maci's face was priceless when I raised the garage door & they saw them. Ever since 4th of July & cruisin' around in Ava Kemper's Barbie car, Abagail has asked for one. The jeep doesn't have a princess on it, but Abagail doesn't seem to mind.

The weather was actually bearable yesterday so we let the girls go outside & burn off some of their energy. I'm sure just like most other little kids, outside is the place to be. The girls just love it out there. Both Abagail & Maci helped Ryan with anything he was doing and had much fun doing it with him!

Abagail needs contacts?

Okay, this is a funny one. Abagail snuck off into the bathroom the other day. No big deal, as she spends a lot of time in there since she has been potty trained. Well, a bit of time went by & I had to go check on her. . .She was putting in 'her' contacts? She told me that she couldn't see & she needed to put her contacts in. Although she really doesn't understand what putting in your contacts means, she demonstrated me very well! She was dipping her finger into the contact solution & putting her finger up to her eye. Quit hilarious!

Ryan was working on his truck, not sure what he was doing, but I guess Maci Sue thought that Ryan couldn't get the job done with out her help. She saw him on the ground, ran over, & plopped herself right on him to observe.

We got to see PawPaw Mike & he showed the girls some sheep, which they loved.

Abagail's first ride of the year. We had to do a bit of convincing to get her on . . . notice that I'm on there with her.

We got an extra little girl along the way, Carly. She is in the girl's class at preschool.

Maci wanted to ride too & she loved it! She enjoyed it so much that she cried when the ride was done & I had to get her off.

The girls had a blast at the fair. From getting to ride rides, see their friends, pet some animals, play games & best of all, the cotton candy!

What a busy 3 day weekend we had! Friday was 4th of July, we celebrated with the Kemper family, Ryan's Mom & Mike, & the Hasekamp family. (Thanks Tim & Mende for having us! Our family really enjoyed the evening & the girls had a blast!) Saturday, Ryan & I shopped around for a swing set for the girls. After 4 hours of shopping, we found one we both liked. 7 hours of labor later, it was put together. Sunday, we got to spend the afternoon with Ryan's family at his MawMaw Flo's house. This get-together was a special one as we got to visit with Ryan's cousin Blake & his wife Taylor, which live in Washington State, so we don't get to see them much. I have lots of pics to capture this weekend. . . Enjoy!
